Red Lobster Just Launched a Side Dish That's Begging to Be Added to Your Thanksgiving Menu
Yes, your table needs this.
Red Lobster’s Cheddar Bay Biscuits have a following almost as devoted as Taylor Swift’s and Beyonce’s. Fans adore those buttery biscuits so much that they’ve transformed them into corsages and boutonnieres for prom, hustled to apply for a chance to become the brand’s “Chief Biscuit Officer,” and nearly revolted when they suspected the biscuits were no longer unlimited. (Rest assured: They still are!)
This year, biscuit buffs can enjoy them — alongside platters full of lobster, shrimp, or their favorite surf and turf combo — at the restaurant on Thanksgiving and Christmas. Now through the holiday season, diners have even more options on the table. According to a press release, Red Lobster’s Lobster and Shrimp Celebration features several new menu items, including its Lobster and Shrimp Holiday Feast, which includes a Maine lobster tail and shrimp smothered in orange-rosemary holiday sauce, along with mashed potatoes and the brand-newCheddar Bay Stuffing. There’s also the Lobster and Cheddar Bay-Stuffed Shrimp, which also comes with Maine lobster tail and shrimp topped with biscuit-based, bacon-spiked stuffing, and the Lobster and Shrimp Overboard, a “big bowl,” as Red Lobster put it, of linguine, tossed with pieces of roasted Maine lobster tail, lobster, and shrimp.
But you need not step food inside the restaurant to get your fix. For a limited time, diners can also order family-sized holiday sides to-go, including its Cheddar Bay Stuffing, Crispy Brussel Sprouts, Bacon Mac and Cheese, Mashed Potatoes, or Orzo Rice.
