Going red carpet official is to celebrities what going Instagram official is to us normal people. So it's pretty exciting news that Rebel Wilson has done just that, confirming her relationship with her new boyfriend Jacob Busch when the pair attended Prince Albert's Planetary Health Gala in Monaco this week.
There are a few big moments in the life of a celebrity relationship. The first time they neither confirm nor deny each other in an interview, their first star-studded double date, and most importantly the first time they walk the red carpet as an official couple. Rebel Wilson and her new boyfriend Jacob Busch hit this milestone earlier this week, confirming their relationship at an event in Monaco. Although, if we're being fully transparent it was a blue carpet.
The new couple posed for pictures arm-in-arm before heading into the gala, which raises money for environmental initiatives and was attended by some other big names including Sienna Miller and Kate Beckinsale.
Rebel and Jacob were reportedly introduced by a friend last year and have been fairly private about their relationship ever since. Busch is heir to the Anheuser-Busch brewing company and previously dated Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star Adrienne Maloof before the pair split in 2017.
Meanwhile Jacob posted a series of pictures of him and Rebel on the night to his Instagram stories, following up this morning with a sweet selfie of the two of them alongside the caption "C'est bon," followed by a red heart emoji.
The day after the event, Rebel posted a picture on Instagram showing her and Jacob boarding a helicopter along with Helen Mirren and Kate Beckinsale, alongside the caption, "Quick Helen, get to the chopper! #TeamMonaco".
A red carpet appearance, an Instagram post and a day out with celebrity mates? These two are storming through the celebrity relationship milestones. Congratulations!
