Reacher is back for season two and fans don't have long to wait before it arrives on Prime Video.
A new action-packed trailer for the upcoming season has confirmed the new episodes will launch on the streaming service on December 15.
The trailer sees Alan Ritchson reprise his role as the titular hero as he teams up with his elite group of Army Special Investigators to solve a murder.
The new season will follow Reacher and his former military cohorts across eight episodes as they delve into the case and take down those responsible for the death of their friend.
Season two looks set to bring all the action as, when asked why he hits so hard in the trailer, Reacher replies: "I don't hit soft".
Based on the Jack Reacher book series by author Lee Child, the TV series debuted in February last year with the first season inspired by the first novel, Killing Floor. The second instalment is set to be based on the eleventh book in the series, titled Bad Luck and Trouble.
Alongside Ritchson, who also appeared in Fast X earlier in the year, Reacher season one starred Scream: The TV Series' Willa Fitzgerald as Margrave PD's Roscoe Conklin, Malcolm Goodwin as Margrave PD Police Captain and Chief Detective Oscar Finlay, Chris Webster as KJ, Bruce McGill as Mayor Grover Teale, and Maria Sten as Frances Neagley.
In February this year, Ritchson took to Twitter/X to update fans on production, confirming the second season of the action-packed show had wrapped filming in the best possible way.
The actor recorded a message from set as he sported some blood on his face, promising season two will be "bigger and better".
"I just came off set," he says in the clip.
"Reacher season two, the last scene is done. As you can see, things got a little crazy. We promised things will be back bigger and better than ever. And we did not lie."
Reacher season 2 will air on Prime Video in December. An exact release date is TBA.
