Radio 1 DJ Nick Grimshaw announces engagement
Nick Grimshaw announced on Thursday (March 31) that he is engaged to his partner, Meshach (Mesh) Henry.
Taking to social media to share the lovely news, Nick shared three gorgeous photos of him and his partner. The first one shows the happy couple in a photo-booth pulling loads of sweet poses, while the other two snaps show Nick on the beach, with close-up shots of his beautiful engagement ring. Captioning the pictures, Nick playfully said: "And in gay news this evening….got proposed to, said yes obvs."
Fans and celebrities alike were quick to comment and share their congratulatory messages. Strictly winner and BBC documentary-maker Stacey Dooley commented "Beautiful news!!!" while presenter Clara Amfo exclaimed "Bring on the wedding of the century!!!!!!!" in excitement. RuPaul's Drag Race judge and former Strictly contestant Michelle Visage said "CONGRATS YOU BEAUTIFUL ANGELS", while The One Show's Alex Jones commented "Lush news!!!!!! Xxx ❤️"
Nick and boyfriend Mesh have been dating for four years. A scroll through Nick's social media shows plenty of pictures of the couple enjoying fun and exciting experiences together. Most recently, Nick shared an image of the two attending a Damien Hurst exhibition, which he cheekily captioned "Pets At Home has changed."
The pair also share plenty of pictures of them enjoying time together with their two adorable dogs. In a series of snaps taken at Christmas, Nick and Mesh can be seen holding up their two dogs and smiling as they spend time together.
