Rachel Riley delighted her fans this week when she took to Instagram to reveal some exciting news.

The Countdown star, who is pregnant with her second child with husband dancer Pasha Kovalev, revealed that along with a new babe, she also has a new book coming out.

Sharing a video for her new maths book, the maths guru captioned the post, “I’m delighted to reveal the cover of my upcoming book, At Sixes and Sevens.”

She continued, “Packed with easy to learn tips and tricks and examples to help your maths skills each and every day, it’s fun, empowering and, I hope, helpful!”

Wrapping up by saying, “It’s out on 28th October and available to pre-order now via the link in my bio. Enjoy!”

Her 518k fans were thrilled with over 21k liking and commenting on the post, saying things like “I’m studying now and I’m really excited to get my hands on this!” and “Congratulations Rachel, I can’t wait to get my copy.”

Rachel and husband Pasha Kovalev met when Rachel starred on Strictly Come Dancing in 2013 and were married in 2019. Their daughter Maven was born in 2019 and the couple’s second baby is due at the end of this year.

It’s been a busy year for Rachel as she revealed she has just filmed her 3000th episode of Channel 4’s Countdown. In honour of the milestone, Pacha and Maven surprised her with a visit to see her on set.

Taking to Instagram, Rachel said, “Today I had a big surprise in studio, complete with my favourite of surprise guests! I'll always be the new girl but who can believe it’s been 3000 shows already! Thanks Countdown family."
