Rachel Riley has posted a heartwarming photo of her daughter Maven on Instagram, and fans were quick to point out her uncanny resemblance to dad father Pasha Kovalev.

The Countdown presenter was encouraging the public to wear their poppies ahead of Remembrance Day as she shared the picture, which featured Rachel wearing her poppy pin with pride with little Maven leaning on her chest.

"Sorted with my Manchester poppy again this year! Worn with pride and available on stands around and about Greater Manchester," the star wrote in the caption.

Fans were loving the snap, with one commenting: "Maven is the image of her Dad! So cute."

Another added: "Maven has inherited her Dad's looks! She's gorgeous."

Rachel met Pasha when she starred on Strictly Come Dancing in 2013, and they announced they were in a relationship the following year. The couple got married in Las Vegas in June last year and welcomed Maven Aria Riley Kovalev on 15 December. Earlier this year, the pair celebrated their first wedding anniversary.

Meanwhile, for those wondering how to get hold of a poppy during the Covid-19 pandemic, you can choose to download a poppy poster for children to colour in and display in the window of your home. You can also request 20 free poppies in the post to share among your friends and family, and ask them to donate to the British Legion.

The Poppy Shop also sells a variety of poppies, including paper poppies with £2, £5 or £10 donations. Delivery is free for orders of £40 or more, so you might want to buy poppies for your families and friends in one go.

This year, Remembrance Day is on Wednesday 11 November, with the National Service of Remembrance planned at London's Cenotaph on Remembrance Sunday (8 November).
