Countdown's Rachel Riley announces second pregnancy with cryptic clue
Rachel Riley has announced she is expecting her second child.
The Countdown star – who welcomed baby daughter Maven with Strictly Come Dancing pro husband Pasha Kovalev in December 2019 – posted a cryptic clue, in the style of the Channel 4 gameshow she presents, on social media to let her fans know her happy news.
Riley, 35, shared a picture of the Countdown letters board with the teaser 'FITTRILEY' captioned: "A special teatime teaser!
"And your clue is... Riley had this to thank for the reason her clothes no longer fit her... And it’ll only get worse till Autumn!

"Happy, happy days for our little family @pashakovalev and future big sister Mave."
The letters rearranged spell out the word "fertility".
Kovalev, 41, and Riley met during the 2013 series of Strictly Come Dancing, where they were partnered together.
The couple married in Las Vegas in June 2019 a month after announcing they were expecting their first child together.
Kovalev and Riley have since appeared on Channel 4's Celebrity Gogglebox together, giving viewers a glimpse into their home.
Riley revealed their first child was on the way with a Countdown conundrum on Instagram spelling out “R TINY MATE”.

Daughter Maven Aria Riley Kovaleva was born in December 2019 weighing 7lbs 4.
Riley was married to Jamie Gilbert at the time she started training for Strictly but split with him in November 2013, and later went on to date Kovalev after the show came to an end.
