Rachel Riley has shared a first peek at her blooming baby bump while filming in the Countdown studio and she looks glowing.

Wearing a long-sleeved dress in the iconic Countdown blue colours, Rachel smiled and posed to the side to display her bump.

Alongside the image she wrote, “Nice being able to breathe again at work! No more stomach holding in, phew!”

This will be the presenter’s second child with Strictly’s Pasha Kovalev, as the couple already have daughter Maven, who will soon be a big sister to the new baby, which expected to be due in Autumn later this year.

The presenter announced her pregnancy news on Wednesday (14 April) with a fun anagram on the Countdown board which, when rearranged, spelled the word ‘fertility’.

Rachel hinted at the answer with the clue, “Riley had this to thank for the reason her clothes no longer fit her...and it’ll only get worse till Autumn!”

She also used the baby face emoji and tagged Pasha, adding that it was “happy, happy days” for their family and “future big sister Mave”, so those who weren’t so quick with anagrams could share in the good news.

Many of Rachel’s half a million followers and famous friends left their congratulations beneath the post.

Sophie Ellis-Bextor said, “Congratulations!! That is happy news indeed. Lots of love from us to you all,” while others said it was “amazing news” and offered “massive congrats” to the Countdown star and her expanding family.
