Travellers who enjoy spotting celebrities and explorers on their boarding passes have never had it so good. There are scores of eponymous airports around the world, from Acapulco's Juan N. Álvarez International (named after the Mexican general who fought in the intriguingly named Pastry War) to Zagreb's Airport Franjo Tuđman (which honours the first President of Croatia).
