'Queer Eye' Star Antoni Porowski Says His Workouts Help With His ADD

Mornings for Queer Eye star Antoni Porowski begin with boxed cold brew. Boxed cold brew and pistachio milk. Boxed cold brew and pistachio milk after vitamin c and creatine. Let’s start over: Mornings with Antoni Porowski begin with creatine.

Porowski is up—caffeinated and creatined—at 6:30 every day. His life, he says, is lived according to habits.

“My diet has definitely changed after being on Queer Eye,” Porowski says. “After seeing yourself so much on camera, it’s definitely affected the way that I eat.”

Men’s Health caught up with Porowski at his Manhattan apartment, where he took us through his morning habits: after creatine, caffeine, and vitamin c, it’s eggs. His current obsession: Heirloom Fresh. He has four every single morning.

Porowski's most important A.M. habit, however, is his workout. Six days a week he leaves his apartment for a local Equinox. (Monday: back and biceps. Tuesday: chest and triceps. Wednesdays: legs. Thursdays: shoulders. Fridays: core and miscellaneous. Saturdays: long river runs.)

“I have severe ADD, so I need that physical exercise in the morning,” Porowski says. “Otherwise, I can’t really function.”

For the celebrity home cook, the rest of the day remains clean and focused. For example, Porowski has once again found juicing, which he calls his “on and off again” food trend relationship. His current juicing relationship status entails pear, celery, fennel, cilantro, jalapeño, and lime. And rosé champagne.

If Porowski’s on the road and can’t cook lunch or dinner, he stays lean with his ordering: chicken or salmon, both with lots of vegetables.

And then there’s his Brita. Don’t get Antoni Porowski started about the water levels in his Brita.
