The Queen's royal pastry chefs share gingerbread house recipe for Christmas
Is there a more festive activity in the run-up to Christmas than assembling and decorating your very own gingerbread house?
Offering hours of fun for kids and adults alike – not to mention delicious snacking opportunities – building a gingerbread house is one of our favourite holiday season traditions.
So, you can bet we were delighted to spot that the Queen's royal pastry chefs have just shared their recipe for the 'perfect gingerbread house'.
In a step-by-step video shared on the official @TheRoyalFamily Instagram account, we see the festive bake come together. And, we have to say, the finished result really is spectacular, with a beautifully iced roof and even a gingerbread snowman by the front door.
The accompanying caption reads: 'In the run up to Christmas, the chefs in the Royal kitchens have shared their recipe for making the perfect Gingerbread House.'
