Her Majesty was joined by her daughter, the Princess Royal, in Berkshire for the opening of a new hospice building.
The royal mother-daughter duo met and spoke with staff and trustees of the centre. Both were presented with small bouquets of flowers during their visit.
To officially open the new building, the Queen unveiled a new plaque while Princess Anne stood alongside. Photographs of the day show the pair smiling, laughing and engaging with team members during their visit together.
For the event, Her Majesty wore a pale blue floral dress and a pair of black leather loafers. She opted for her favourite pearl jewellery pieces to complete her ensemble.
Her triple strand pearl necklace was a gift from her grandfather King George V, and the pearl and diamond studs she wore are known as the Queen Mary button earrings, inherited from her grandmother, Queen Mary.
Princess Anne looked smart in a tartan, suit-style ensemble in muted green and earthy tones.
Photographs of the pair's visit were shared to the official Royal Family instagram account in a round up of events from across the week.
Also featured over the weekend (Sunday 17 July) was a smiling photo of Camilla, Duchess of Cornwall, in honour of her 75th birthday.
In the image, the Duchess wears a blue floral dress and sits with a dog on her knee. Camilla is a patron of the animal charity, Battersea Dogs and Cats Home.
