Those pesky royals, eh! They just can't keep still – first it was Princess Eugenie moving into Prince Harry and Meghan Markle's old home, Frogmore Cottage (you know, the one that had all the spenny renovations done to it that caused a bit of a kerfuffle), then moving swiftly back out... and now the Queen and Prince Philip are on the move.

Fresh off the back of being vaccinated against the COVID 19 virus, Her Majesty and the Duke of Edinburgh are vacating Windsor Castle, where they've resided for the duration of lockdown. Instead, they'll at last be returning to their beloved Buckingham Palace in London.

As reported by The Sunday Times, the couple (who have been married for over 70 years – wowza!) are set to return to BP ahead of the annual Trooping of the Colour event, which is held every year in June to commemorate the Queen's birthday. This year will be extra special as not only does it sound like the first big family get together for the royals in a while, but it's expected that Meghan and Harry (who currently live out in Montecito, near LA) will be flying over to join the celebrations too.

It's also likely that the fact the Queen and Prince Philip have both now been vaccinated against coronavirus will play a part in their decision to move.

Currently (and quite unsurprisingly), neither Windsor Castle or Buckingham Palace are open to visits from the public.

In other royal news, actor Rob Lowe recently started a rumour that Prince Harry has gone for a hair style switch-up, when appeared on James Corden's chat show, The Late, Late Show. The Wayne's World star said he spotted the Duke of Sussex driving around their neighbourhood and it looked as though he was sporting some kind of ponytail... and to be honest, we're here for it! We love it when Hazza rips up the royal rule book and does his thing (e.g. moving to America and saying "CBA to being a working royal lol").

Fingers crossed that by the time summer rolls around, the virus will be under control and things will feel a little more *normal* – and that the usual crowds will be able to safely gather to watch the Trooping of the Colour, too.
