Despite moving halfway around the world with his wife, Meghan Markle, and son, Archie, to Montecito, it sounds as though Prince Harry still regularly keeps in touch with his family back in the UK. According to one royal source, the prince, who recently celebrated his 36th birthday, is said to have pencilled in a phone call with his brother, William, to catch up on the day.

The same source, quoted in a Vanity Fair report by royal correspondent Katie Nicholl, said this isn't out of the ordinary either – "They always talk on important days like that." The source also added that Harry most likely spent his big day having a catch up with his dad, Prince Charles, and grandmother, The Queen too. So, all is well on the royal relations front it seems!

When it comes to the latter, it sounds as though Harry and Her Majesty speak far more frequently than on just special occasions. In fact, Her Royal Highness – after a slightly shaky start – is now more than adept at Zoom calls and video chatting. It's thought that The Queen is an especially big fan of chatting to Meghan and Harry's one-year-old son, Archie. "According to a family friend, The Queen loves watching Archie onscreen and has commented on his streak of red hair." How cute is that?

Since stepping away from their senior royal roles, Meghan and Harry have stopped using their official @SussexRoyal Instagram account, where previously they shared their work and the odd family picture with the general public. Meaning, that it's rare for us to get a glimpse of their little one as he grows up – so it's super adorable to hear that he's taking after his father and rocking a little ginger streak in his hair!

While they may no longer be carrying out any official royal duties, The Sussexes are still more than keeping busy, having recently signed a very significant deal with Netflix. They've also been keeping up charitable work and volunteering with organisations they're passionate about in LA.

Meghan recently sang Harry's praises when it comes to fatherhood, citing him as an excellent parent and role model for Archie: "I look at our son and what a beautiful example that he gets to grow up with – a father who is so comfortable owning [feminism] as part of his own self-identification. That there’s no shame in being someone who advocates for fundamental human rights for everyone, which of course includes women."

Here's hoping Meghan and Harry share a new photo of Archie soon!
