The Queen's gin brand, Buckingham Palace Gin, has announced a new addition to its range: a sloe gin!

The Buckingham Palace Sloe Gin features "hand-picked whole sloe berries that have been steeped in Buckingham Palace Gin, giving the sloe gin a unique and intense fruit flavour."

To serve the gin, Buckingham Palace recommends incorporating it in a Sloe Royale cocktail. To make: "Pour a 25ml measure of Buckingham Palace Sloe Gin into a fluted glass, top up with champagne or sparkling wine and garnish with fresh berries or orange peel."

The Buckingham Palace Sloe Gin costs £30 and is available from The Royal Collection Trust Shop. All proceeds from sales go to The Royal Collection Trust, a registered charity, and help fund the care and conservation of the Royal Collection, and the promotion of access and enjoyment of the Collection through exhibitions, publications, loans and educational programmes.
