Pupils at school will take on run for cancer

Pupils at a school in Bicester will be lacing up their trainers and running after school to raise money for cancer.

Year 11 girls at The Bicester School will be partaking in a Race for Macmillan after school on Friday, September 29 as part of a fundraising effort organised by the Sports Council.

The event’s Just Giving page states: “We will be raising money to support those with cancer. There will be a bake sale during the day and a race for Macmillan after school on September 29.

“We would be grateful if you could support us.

“If you’re diagnosed, your worries are Macmillan’s worries. Macmillan’s doing whatever it takes. But without your help, Macmillan can’t support everyone who needs them.”
