Despite telling ourselves Winter Love Island wasn't going to take over our lives (who were we kidding?), we are well and truly engrossed in the goings on of the South African villa. But sadly, as all good things come to an end, we know have the Winter Love Island final date - and it's sooner than we thought.

If you're anything like us, you're probably obsessed with the Love Island 2020 couples. While Paige Turley and Finn Tapley are currently our only official couple, we're still invested in the likes of Luke Trotman and Siannise Fudge - and the potential romance between Shaughna Phillips and Luke Mabbott.

But if their relationships have any more blossoming to do, they'll have to get on with it quick, as ITV2 have announced the official date of the Love Island final. The revealed on Twitter: "Confirmed. Love Island: The Live Final. Sunday 23 February at 9pm on ITV2 #loveisland".

Sunday 23 February, as in next Sunday? Say it ain't so! Winter Love Island kicked off on Sunday 12 January, making this series only six weeks long - compared to the last two summer series, which have been eight weeks long.

With just 10 days to go in the villa, fans are wondering what the future holds for their favourite Islanders. Following last night's savage challenge, do Paige and Finn have a strong future? Is bombshell Jamie Clayton going to recouple with Demi Jones or Shaughna? WILL WE HAVE A SOCIAL LIFE LEFT WHEN THIS IS OVER?
