PSA: People Are Making Ice Cream Boards Instead of Charcuterie Boards
Look, we love ourselves a good charcuterie board. In fact, they're one of our favourite things to make. You can go wild with your imagination when it comes to the sort of foods to include and they're great for all kinds of celebrations.
So, when we first discovered that people were making ice cream boards instead, we couldn't help but pass on this juicy piece of info.
First spotted via Edward Cooks on TikTok, his video has racked up a whopping 2.5 million views along with 227,000 likes and 1,400 comments.
In Ed's video, he loads a wooden platter with everything from chocolate chip cookies to mini marshmallows, ice cream sprinkles to wafer cones. And it's basically the most beautiful thing we've ever laid our eyes on. It's a showstopper!
But, if you haven't got something as fancy as Ed's ice cream holder, you can simply use a deep-sided baking tray filled with ice.
Likewise, if you don't fancy scooping the ice cream prior, you can just sit your sealed ice cream tubs on top of the ice bed to keep them cool.
These charcuterie-style dessert boards really are something special, and they're the perfect way to make at-home celebrations that bit more exciting! Not to mention, they couldn't be easier to make.
