When it comes to nail art, we've been spoiled for choice this year. From glazed donut nails to half moon manis and French twists, there's been an endless stream of inspo in the nail department. But as the year comes to a close, which trends have come out on top? Below, the most searched, most viral and most likely to be sticking around in the New Year...

1) Hailey Bieber nails
Glazed donut nails were hard to miss this year, so it's no wonder 'Hailey Bieber nails' reigned supreme for 2022, per Google Trends data. Cropping up in all different iterations, we've seen everything from Bieber's chocolate mani to the most recent candy cane nails.

2) BIAB nails
Heard of BIAB nails? In other words: the ticket to a beautiful mani and stronger nails. Effectively, a strengthening and lengthening nail treatment, BIAB (or builder in a bottle) is the range of nail products catching the attention of TikTokers. Use it as an overlay on natural nail or extensions or on top of your nails to prevent breakage. The result: fewer chips and a longer-lasting mani.
