Stacey Solomon has shared a heartwarming picture of her sons meeting their new baby brother for the first time.
The Loose Women presenter’s partner Joe Swash announced on Friday that Solomon, 29, had given birth to a baby boy one month earlier than expected, sharing an intimate picture of Solomon resting with her newborn shortly after giving birth.
Now Solomon has posted pictures of her sons from previous relationships, Zachary, 11, and Leighton, 7, meeting the latest addition to the family at her hospital bedside.
Solomon captioned the pictures: “My sons.”
She thanked her father for taking the black and white portrait shots which she described as “perfect pictures.”
Swash, 37, who has an 11-year-old son Harry from a previous relationship, has also shared touching portraits of himself with his new baby.
Solomon had been due to celebrate her baby shower with friends from the Loose Women panel when she went into labour early.
She sent a message to the show on Friday, read out by co-presenter Andrea McLean, saying: “Hi everyone, I was so looking forward to my baby shower today. Gutted I can’t be there, but me and baby are watching from home, which feels even more special now. Thanks so much, I love you all. The first place I am going when I can put some normal pants on and walk properly is into the Loose Women studio. Love, Stace.”
Solomon has won praise for the candid shot he posted on Instagram of mother and child after birth, looking exhausted in a blood-stained, baggy white T-Shirt as she shared skin-to-skin contact with her tiny new born.
Swash hailed her as “super human” for getting through an “impossible” birth.
The baby boy’s name is yet to be revealed.
