Private Island In The Bahamas That Starred In James Bond And Pirates Of The Caribbean Is Up For Sale
An exotic private island in the Bahamas is up for sale for $100 million dollars (£87 million). The impressive 40-acre spot of paradise is located in The Exumas, which is a district that contains 365 islands. It's sought after real estate by the A list, with Johnny Depp and Tyler Perry owning islands in the area. Little Pipe Cay boasts idyllic white sandy beaches and sparkling waters that locals refer to as 'Bombay-Sapphire Blue'. In fact, the spot is so stunning, it has been featured in Hollywood films including Pirates of the Caribbean and James Bond. It features exotic plants and animals, including dolphins and sea turtles. A tranquil oasis, it was uninhabited until the owners purchased it 15 years ago. It now has a 5,300-square-foot main residence, four guest cottages, and accommodation quarters for staff including eleven bedrooms and twelve bathrooms. The island is very accessible as it boasts a helipad, a seaplane dock, and a deep-water dock able to accommodate superyachts. Owners will also be able to rent out the island as a luxury resort charging anywhere between £60,000 – £75,000 per night depending on the season.
