The Princess of Wales steps out in high street midi skirt for St David's Day
The Princess of Wales stepped out in a chic high street midi skirt to celebrate St David's Day on Tuesday (28 February).
The Princess opted for a houndstooth black and white skirt from high street brand Zara (although the piece is no longer stocked), for a visit to South Wales with Prince William.
Kate paired the skirt with a cream long sleeve jumper with a roll neck, plus a long-line, tailored coat.
The Prince and Princess of Wales were on a visit to "champion mental health initiatives and meet local communities," according to the Royal Family's social media account.
During their visit, the royals got involved with some of the activities at various centres they visited, including taking a competitive spin on some exercise bikes in a friendly competition against each other.
Photographs on the Prince and Princess of Wales' instagram account show the pair working hard on the bikes, before Kate is presented with a mini trophy for her efforts.
Prince William and Kate were also pictured meeting the Air Ambulance team, as they were visiting the new family room of the Wales Air Ambulance Charity. The addition "will play a vital role in supporting families, nurses and volunteers. It’s safe spaces like these that help our emergency workers who do so much to keep us safe," the royals said in a caption on social media.
Wales has always held special significance for the couple, as Prince William and Kate lived there together when they first got married, before welcoming their children.
