The Princess of Wales embraces smart casual style in red high street blazer
The Princess of Wales channeled smart casual dressing on a visit to a centre for children with special needs in Kent on Wednesday (27 September) morning.
Kate wore a textured bouclé blazer in bright red for the visit, which was part of her 'Shaping Us' initiative that spotlights the importance of early childhood. She paired her statement-making jacket with a neutral top, tailored navy trousers and suede flats. Her daytime look was complete with a chic updo and gold hoop earrings.
The royal has been seen wearing the blazer, believed to be from Zara, on several occasions in previous years, including the Euro football semi-finals in June 2021. She then wore it again in Copenhagen in February 2022. Although it's no longer in stock, there are several other options on offer from the high street, including a similar bouclé style from Sosandar.
Tailoring has become one of Kate's go-to style choices lately. Earlier this week, she wore a smart forest green suit by Burberry for a visit to AW Hainsworth woollen mill in Stanningley, Yorkshire.
On a recent trip to Royal Naval Air Station Yeovilton in Somerset, she wore a striking double-breasted jacket by British brand Holland Cooper. And when a practical outfit was required for a visit to a school's outdoor learning project in Hereford on Thursday (14 September), Kate still embraced tailoring in a slightly more casual checked blazer. She dressed the jacket down with skinny jeans and lace-up boots.
