Princess Kate's 'wild' throwback outfit you totally forgot about

Once upon a time, the Princess of Wales was a self-professed 'wild thing.' Our proof? Back in 2004, Prince William's wife-to-be rocked a graphic tee courtesy of the Really Wild Clothing Company that boasted the exact words - and we are obsessed.

Princess Kate attended a game fair at Blenheim Palace in Oxfordshire sporting the white top featuring the playful black text, which she paired with a green tweed knee-length skirt and brown leather knee-high boots. The look was a fun addition to her many noughties looks, some of which you can see in the clip below...

Kate's country chic aesthetic was topped off with a pair of tinted Y2K sunglasses and a natural beauty look, consisting of a fresh-faced appearance and flowing chocolate locks that cascaded in the wind. A low-slung tan leather belt infused her preppy attire with an extra nostalgic noughties twist.

She was pictured beside a friend who donned the same top, as the duo promoted the royally-beloved brand that celebrates sartorial British heritage.

Across the years, Princess Kate has championed a number of pieces by the label, with her latest Really Wild look taking centre stage in 2021. The royal visited the Lake District in Cumbria, spending the day outdoors taking part in activities to highlight the beneficial, lifelong impact that nature can have on young people. For the wholesome occasion, she wore a tweed belted jacket by the company, paired with a simple oat-hued knit.

Back in the early 2000s, the mother-of-three rocked many Y2K looks, leaving us with plenty to feast our eyes upon for year-round style guides.

Before she married into the royal family, Princess Kate was spotted at Wimbledon wearing one of her most ethereal looks to date. The royal-to-be donned a heavenly white corset dress featuring a boned peplum bodice, white pleating, spaghetti straps and a rich cream hue which accentuated her sun-kissed glow, no doubt courtesy of a beachside getaway with then-boyfriend Prince William.

Avid tennis fan Kate wore her brunette hair down loose and swept to the side in a glamorous, cool-girl manner. She clasped a nude clutch bag to subtly complement her angelic aesthetic.
