Princess Eugenie, who unlike most of the Royal Family has her own personal Instagram account, took to the site on Monday to share a sweet post celebrating the arrival of her new niece. Princess Beatrice gave birth to her first child on Saturday, just six months after younger sister Eugenie welcomed little August into the world.

Sharing a photo of the new parents, Beatrice and husband Edoardo Mapelli Mozzi, Eugenie opened her heartfelt words with nicknames for each, writing; "To my dearest Beabea and Edo⁣, Congratulations on your new angel. I can't wait to meet her and I'm so proud of you."

The close sisters are understandably pleased to start their next generation in the same year, having cousins in such close ages, continuing; "We're going to have so much fun watching our children grow up. Love Euge "

She went on to write a note for the baby, who's name is yet to be revealed, saying; To my new niece,⁣ I love you already and think you're just awesome from the photos... we're going to have so much fun ⁣together. Love your Auntie Euge 🥰🥰💕💕😘"

The new aunt often shares personal insights into her family life from her account, along with her career in the art world and her work with charities. So hopefully we'll get to see some precious moments between the sisters and their little ones in future.

From the video Princess Eugenie posted celebrating her older sister's Birthday in August, it's clear to see just how strong their bond is.

The post was captioned; "Happy Birthday to my big sissy.. BeaBea you are sensational and I have loved every minute watching you be brave and true...and you ❤️...and now a mummy to be :) #iloveyou"

It's lovely to see the sisters embark on this next stage in their lives together.
