Princess Eugenie took a trip to London’s Green Park with her baby son August to see an elephant exhibition which has been installed in the city.
The princess shared a selection of adorable photographs of herself holding baby August alongside the giant herd of bamboo elephants in the park.
In a caption alongside the images Eugenie explained that “a giant herd of 100+ elephants has arrived in Green Park to share their @coexistence.story with London this summer."
Eugenie is a patron of the Elephant Family wildlife charity involved in the exhibition and said as a patron and "an honorary Matriarch it’s my pleasure to share this journey with you.”
The third photograph the royal posted showed little August being held up to a small elephant sculpture. Eugenie added that “Within The Tea Timers herd is a wonderful baby elephant called Assam August - and it was such a pleasure to take my August to meet him.”
Many of Princess Eugenie’s followers left comments about how adorable August was, saying he “looks just like his papa” and “he looks very amused haha. Too cute this little man.”
The exhibition arrived this summer and the Duchess of Cornwall has also played a part events tying in with the installation.
Working with the National Literacy Trust, Camilla led an extra special story time among the elephants and was joined by a special guest.
Children’s character Elmer the elephant joined the Duchess as she read to local school children who were especially excited to see Elmer arrive.
