Princess Eugenie shared never-before-seen pregnancy photos as she treated viewers to an art tour of The Queen’s Gallery, ahead of a new exhibition.

The Princess filmed a special show with Sky Arts about the event earlier this year, while she was pregnant with baby August, her son with husband Jack Brooksbank.

The episode was filmed in the gallery at Buckingham Palace to promote The Royal Collections's new exhibition Masterpieces from Buckingham Palace, which is now open to the public.

Princess Eugenie shared photos from the show in a post on her Instagram account with the caption:

“I spoke to @katebryan_art all about what art and these artworks in particular mean to me. Tune in tonight at 8pm on Sky Arts to see the show and go see the remarkable exhibition whilst you can.”

In clips on her Instagram Stories, the Princess sits down with presenter Kate Bryan and explains how studying History of Art had helped her appreciate the masterpieces in the collection.

The Princess revealed that when she was 16 she had actually studied one of the paintings from the Royal Collection while at school, saying that as a teen she found studying History of Art “so exciting.”

She also added that although she enjoyed the idea of being an artist herself, it perhaps wasn’t something she’d be able to pursue.

“I think I wanted to be an artist, definitely,” she said. “But the extent of my art was

papier-mâché presents.”

Masterpieces from Buckingham Palace is available to visit until 13 February 2022.
