Princess Eugenie and her fiancé, Jack Brooksbank, are set to tie the knot on the 12th of October in a ceremony that will take place at St George’s Chapel in the grounds of Windsor Castle.

Many details of the nuptials are already known.

The couple have confirmed that they will be inviting 1200 members of the public to watch their big day (you just have to apply to be in with a chance), the service will be broadcast live and the couple will travel through Windsor, just like the Duke and Duchess of Sussex did back in May, for a royal wedding procession.

Now, according to reports from Hello!, it’s been revealed that despite rumours Jack Brooksbank might have become an Earl following his marriage to a royal, he will remain a member of the public. This means Eugenie’s title will become HRH Princess Eugenie, Mrs Jack Brooksbank.

Eugenie first met Brooksbank, who is the former manager of the Mayfair club Mahiki and now works as a UK ambassador for George Clooney and Rande Gerber's tequila brand, Casamigos, during a skiing holiday in Verbier.

The pair became engaged in Nicaragua back in January after dating for several years and their families couldn’t have been more delighted.

"Jack is an absolutely outstanding young man and Eugenie and he have got to know each other over a number of years, and I’m really thrilled for them," Prince Andrew said following the engagement announcement. "I’m just completely overjoyed for them and wish them every happiness," he continued.

Eugenie's mother, Sarah Ferguson, also shared her enthusiasm on Twitter for her future son-in-law. "We love Jack and I am so excited to have a son," she wrote.
