The Queen's granddaughter Princess Eugenie is to marry her long-term boyfriend Jack Brooksbank this week.
The couple will marry on Friday 12 October at St George's Chapel in Windsor, the same venue Eugenie's cousin Prince Harry married Meghan Markle at in May.
Eugenie, whose full name is Princess Eugenie Victoria Helena of York, and Jack became engaged while on holiday in Nicaragua. On the day Buckingham Palace announced their engagement, they shared official portraits to mark the occasion with Eugenie displaying her engagement ring which features a padparadscha sapphire surrounded by diamonds.
But who is Jack Brooksbank? Here's what we know.
Born to an accountant, Jack attended the independent school Stowe in Buckinghamshire, according to the Daily Mail. After leaving school, he worked as a waiter and barman for a few years and told the Mail his "dream" at 18-years-old was to create a chain of pubs because he had "fond memories of Sunday roasts in pubs with log fires" and it was something he wanted to recreate.
He has a younger brother, Thomas - who works in Asset Management, and who will serve as Jack's Best Man during the ceremony. Shortly after announcing the bridal party two days before the wedding, the Duke of York shared a picture of Jack and Thomas as children on Instagram:
Relationship with Eugenie
The two are believed to have met in the ski resort of Verbier, Switzerland in 2010 through mutual friends. Eugenie was studying at Newcastle university at the time but she later moved to New York for a couple of years to work for auction house Paddle8.
"We met when I was 20 and Jack was 24 and fell in love," Eugenie said in her engagement interview on The One Show in January. "We have the same passions and drive for life."
Jack called their meeting "love at first sight" in the interview and said of his engagement, "I love Eugenie so much and we are just so happy and over the moon for what is to come".
In 2013, Jack spoke to the Daily Mail about their long-distance relationship: "We spend a lot of time on Skype," he said. "It's great. We're very much still together."
In 2016, after Eugenie had moved back to the UK, she told Harper's Bazaar US she and Jack were "obsessed" with the TV show The Walking Dead and that the two loved going out to eat.
The royal also regularly shares loved-up photos of herself and Jack on her Instagram account, which she set up on International Women's Day, earlier this year.
Jack reportedly started off as a barman and a waiter and then worked in a pub in Chelsea before joining the team at Mayfair nightclub Mahiki - which was said to be a favourite of royals including Prince Harry and Prince William - where he became the general manager.
In 2015, Jack joined Casamigos Tequila, the company co-founded by George Clooney, Rande Gerber (aka Mr Cindy Crawford) and Mike Meldman, as the UK brand ambassador. Clooney, Gerber and Melsman sold Casamigos to drinks giant Diageo for $1 billion in 2017.
Jack, who has since been promoted to European Brand Manager, has been praised by the company for "using the industry knowledge acquired from over nine years of on-trade experience... to represent Casamigos Tequila among top tier venues including hotel groups and private clubs, whilst educating consumers on the brand story and superior taste credentials".
Given his expertise, Jack has recently confirmed he is "in charge of choosing the drinks" at his wedding and that a selection of bespoke Casamigos cocktails have been added to the menu.
Fitting in with the family
Having dated Eugenie for a relatively long time, Jack appears to well and truly be part of the family. He's been spotted arm in arm with Eugenie's mother Sarah Ferguson at Royal Ascot and attended both the Duchess of Cambridge's sister Pippa Middleton's wedding last year and the Duke and Duchess of Sussex's royal wedding in May.
Both the Duke and Duchess of York were over the moon when their daughter's engagement was announced and spoke very highly of Jack. Prince Andrew told the BBC Jack was an "absolutely astounding young man" while Sarah Ferguson said she loves Jack and was "so excited to have a son".
Royal Wedding 2, as it's been dubbed thanks to a hashtag, will be broadcast live on both ITV's daytime show This Morning and streamed on Youtube.
