Princess Charlotte is 'spitting image' of Diana's niece in incredible throwback photo
Thanks to being part of the most famous family in the world, those in the Firm are often subjected to people pointing out how similar they look to their historical ancestors. Whether it is how much Princess Beatrice and Queen Victoria look alike or just how much King Charles looks like Prince Philip's grandmother, there are a huge number of royal dopplegängers.
But it is clear that it is not just royals of the past who have handed down their looks - but living relatives too. After Diana, Princess of Wales' niece, Lady Kitty Spencer, shared a throwback photograph of herself from 1992, her lookalike is unmistakable.
Lady Kitty Spencer is the eldest child of Earl Spencer and Victoria Aitken. She was born in London on December 28, 1990 and was raised between South Africa and England. As she is the niece of Diana, Princess of Wales, she is the first cousin of Prince William and Prince Harry.

Lady Kitty is very active on social media and often shares sweet throwback pictures with her 716k followers. In one snap from 1992, a very young Kitty is seen sitting on a horse wearing a riding helmet. But it wasn’t just the cute picture that had everybody talking. Her incredible likeness to one of her royal relatives was all everybody in the comments could speak about.
One commented: “You look just like Charlotte Elizabeth Diana.” While another added: “OMG!!! How similar Princess Charlotte is to you." Someone else shared their disbelief: “I thought it's Princess Charlotte.”
One said: “Now we know how Princess Charlotte will look alike when she's adult." A final user concluded: “Lady Kitty, you and HRH Princess Charlotte look identical. It’s the Spencer genes!”
But it would seem that Lady Kitty Spencer is not the only relative that Princess Charlotte shares her likeness with. Several social media users have previously pointed out the similarities between the late Queen and her great-granddaughter, as well as those between her and Prince William.
During a visit to Bradford in 2020, the Prince and Princess of Wales examined a cake which was designed by Siami Ali, when Prince William noticed something “incredible”.
William pointed to a cute photo of himself dressed in a red jumpsuit from 1992 and was stunned at his resemblance to Princess Charlotte.
The likeness is so strong that it even had William doing a double take, he quipped to Kate: "Is that me? Doesn't it look like Charlotte?"
The Princess of Wales came for a closer look and agreed saying: "It looks so much like Charlotte." William then repeated his previous statement, adding: "Is that me? That looks just like Charlotte. That's incredible, I haven't seen that before. Very alike in similarity."
