Princess Charlotte just nailed big sister duties with Prince Louis
It's safe to say that King Charles' coronation day has already been quite the spectacle, with millions tuning in to watch from around the world, gigantic golden coaches, celebrities and high-profile politicians in attendance at the Abbey and a whole lot of ceremony steeped in ancient tradition. All of which, you might imagine, could seem pretty daunting to a five-year-old like Prince Louis.
Although all we know Louis is a confident, fun kid (see: the Platinum Jubilee celebrations for detail, where he well and truly stole the show), it seems his big sister, Princess Charlotte, 8, was still keen to look out for her younger sibling – and the two shared an adorable moment as they entered Westminster Abbey, ahead of the coronation ceremony.
Arriving with their parents, Prince William of Wales, and Kate Middleton, the Princess of Wales, Charlotte was quick to take a hold of little Louis' hand as they walked into the historic venue, with some 2,000 guests in attendance. Maybe to reassure him... maybe just to keep him in check!
How sweet is this though? Our hearts can't cope tbh!
The pair also sat together throughout the ceremony – whilst their older brother Prince George played the important role of page boy and helped to carry his grandfather's robes – and shared another special moment when Louis got excited about something overhead and couldn't help but point it out to Charlotte.
More Charlotte and Louis content, please? These two are the ultimate double act.
