We recently learned the happy news that Princess Beatrice has welcomed her first child, a baby daughter, with her husband - the Italian count, Edo Mapelli Mozzi.

Then, shortly after the little one's birth, Beatrice and Edo shared their baby's name with royal fans via the Royal Family's Instagram account.

Along with a sweet picture of the youngster's footprints and her birth date - 18.09.21 - the post revealed the baby is called Sienna Elizabeth Mapelli Mozzi.

A caption accompanying the upload also gave a much-welcomed update on how the family are getting on, and it sounds like things are going swimmingly, which is great to hear. It especially sounds as though Edo's son, Wolfie, from a previous relationship is thriving in his role as big brother.

"👶 Her Royal Highness Princess Beatrice and Mr Edoardo Mapelli Mozzi have named their daughter Sienna Elizabeth Mapelli Mozzi," it states. "👣 The couple have said, 'We are all doing well and Wolfie is the best big brother to Sienna'."

And of course, it's not just big brother Wolfie who Sienna has to play with, she'll grow up alongside the likes of August Brooksbank, the son of Princess Eugenie, and Prince William and Kate Middleton's kids, Prince George, Princess Charlotte and Prince Louis.

Speaking of her cousins, baby Sienna already has a key thing in common with Princess Charlotte and other royal kids - her name being a tribute to their great-grandmother, the Queen.

Sienna's birth - and subsequent naming - means that now, five out of the Queen's seven great-granddaughters are named after her.

William and Kate opted to call their daughter Charlotte Elizabeth Diana, while Prince Harry and Meghan Markle named their daughter Lilibet Diana, paying tribute to the Queen's childhood nickname.

Queen Anne's children, Peter Phillips and Zara Tindall, both gave their daughters the middle name Elizabeth, too. Peter is dad to Isla Elizabeth Phillips while Zara is mum to Lena Elizabeth Tindall.

Then, the arrival of Sienna Elizabeth Mapelli Mozzi makes five.

It's clear how important the Queen is to her grandchildren as they themselves become parents, and it's lovely to see her name being passed on through the generations.

Sienna's first name, which has risen in popularity in recent years, holds significance, too. It has Italian origin and means 'reddish-brown'.

It works perfectly on two levels as not only is Edo of Italian descent, but Beatrice is known for having reddish-coloured hair.

Congratulations to you all, Beatrice, Edo and Wolfie!
