Princess Beatrice and Edoardo Mapelli Mozzi celebrated their engagement last night with a star-studded party at London hotspot Chiltern Firehouse.

The royal was joined by a number of A-listers as well as members of her own family, however, her father Prince Andrew did not appear to be in attendance, which was likely due to the recent fallout from his involvement with the Jeffrey Epstein scandal, which has resulted in him stepping back from public life.

Beatrice and Edoardo were joined by the princess' mother, the Duchess of York, as well as some of the Duchess of Cambridge's nearest and dearest, including her brother, James Middleton and his fiancé Alizee Thevenet, and her sister, Pippa Middleton and husband James Matthews.

Other celebrities in attendance included Ellie Goulding, who is known to be a close friend of Beatrice's and was one of the guests at Princess Eugenie's wedding last October.

Beatrice and Edoardo announced their engagement in September of this year with a sweet statement an accompanying photoshoot.

"We are extremely happy to be able to share the news of our recent engagement. We are both so excited to be embarking on this life adventure together and can't wait to be actually married. We share so many similar interests and values and we know that this will stand us in great stead for years ahead, full of love and happiness."

The couple are yet to release exact details of when their wedding will take place, but it is expected to be at some point in 2020.
