While this year has all been about Prince Harry and Meghan Markle's big royal wedding, try and cast your mind back to 2011 when we all enjoyed celebrating Prince William tying the knot with Kate Middleton.

It was a glorious day where Kate wore a big white dress and everyone got an extra day off work. Yaaaay!

But for some, the happy day brought about some not so happy comments. Because, you know, the internet is the internet and people just love to find the shade.

For Princess Beatrice and Eugenie who were just there to watch their cousin marry the love of his life, they found themselves at the centre of an online storm. And it was all to do with their outfits, specifically their choice of bold fascinators.

Here's a pic in case you've momentarily forgotten:

Anyway, there were loads of memes and comparisons being thrown around on Twitter and let's just say they weren't particularly nice about the sisters.

No surprise then, that Beatrice and Eugenie were pretty upset over the nasty comments, and even cried afterwards.

Eugenie told British Vogue that her sister broke down crying at a Buckingham Palace garden party. "There was a horrible article that had been written about Beatrice and she got really upset," she said. "We were just about to step out and she had a bit of a wobble and cried. I was looking after her. And then about an hour later, I had a wobble and started crying and Bea was there for me."

To be honest, the whole thing sounds pretty upsetting and we'd definitely be crying if we were in their shoes. Princesses are real people too, internet!
