Another day, another snoop around a royal home (we just love to see it). Now, Princess Beatrice has given us a peek inside fiancé Edo Mapelli Mozzi's family home, where the pair have been staying during lockdown (as opposed to her St James' Palace flat, as previously thought).
Given that Edo is an Italian count (meaning a sweet little title change for Beatrice when they finally are able to marry) and already lived a super luxe lifestyle before meeting his bride-to-be, it's no surprise that his Chipping Norton family home is utterly gorgeous.
While joining a Zoom call with her sister Princess Eugenie, to support the Teenage Cancer Trust, Beatrice could be seen in a room with a neutral colour palette and some very stylish looking grey and cream printed curtains. As reported by HELLO!, the property is worth a casual £1.5 million.
Writing about the video call on Instagram, the charity said: "Last week we were honoured to be joined by Their Royal Highnesses Princess Beatrice and @princesseugenie for a very special Zoom call with a group of young people we’ve supported in the North West.
Their Royal Highnesses led a fascinating conversation, shining a light on the challenges young people face during the Coronavirus crisis. Teenage Cancer Trust Lead Nurse Dave and Youth Support Coordinator Steve, who are based at the (tag) Christie NHS Foundation Trust in Manchester, also joined the call and shared how they’re offering support through these challenging times."
Previously, Beatrice has filmed videos from other rooms in the stunning property, including one with magnolia-coloured, complete with a black and white photograph on display, a pair of cream curtains and a vase featuring decorative twigs.
Unfortunately, like many during the pandemic, the Princess and her fiancé had to postpone their wedding, which was due to take place on 29 May. On the day itself, Beatrice's mother, Sarah Ferguson, had some words of comfort on offer and shared a special Instagram tribute to her daughter.
Alongside a sweet picture of the royal as a child, Sarah wrote: "Love you my darling Beatrice. You have given me more joy than I could ever wish for. I am so excited to celebrate yours and Edo’s love when we all are out of lockdown."
Same here! Any excuse to don a fancy schmancy hat is fine by us.
