Prince William shows off his football skills as he joins the Irish Guards in Kenya
The Duke of Cambridge has concluded his working visit to Africa, with a trip to Kenya.
Prince William, who is Colonel of the Irish Guards, joined the Number Two Company for a training session at the Laikipia Training Area in Kenya.
They are known in the country as the British Army Training Unit Kenya (BATUK) and the Duke observed how British and Kenyan troops are training together to improve performance on operations, for the benefit of both countries.
The staff have also been working on the Kinamba Community school project and the Duke, dressed in uniform, showed off his skills during a football match.

William, who is an avid Aston Villa fan, brought footballs along for the kickabout, as he was introduced to the players.
There were hugs when the Duke met his namesake William at the match before presenting him with an Aston Villa football shirt.
The main focus of William’s week-long trip has been on conservation efforts, with the aim to stop the illegal wildlife trade.
In Namibia, the Duke joined rangers as they tracked black rhinos in the Kunene region. He also visited Tanzania, where he met with President John Magufuli.
