The youngster may have only just turned six but according to her father the sassy schoolgirl now claims she's a 16-years-old when asked how old she is.
In footage shared on the Daily Mail, the Duke of Cambridge can be heard telling one organisation worker that Charlotte had a 'lovely birthday'.
'Unfortunately, for her, obviously last year there was no birthday party because of lockdown but this year [we had] one other family, so that was it. So it wasn't a party as such but we made it as fun for her as possible,' the royal is heard explaining.
Prince William also joked about his daughter: 'If you ask her, she says she's 16... Charlotte says, "I'm six now, I'll do what I want". They grow up very fast.'
To mark her special day, the @royalfamily Instagram account shared a snap of the Princess, which was taken by her mother.
'Wishing Princess Charlotte a very happy sixth birthday today,' its caption reads.
