William and Kate watch St David’s Day Parade in Windsor

Prince William and Princess Kate watched a St David’s Day parade in Windsor on Wednesday (1 March).

The royal couple visited Combermere Barracks in Berkshire - less than a mile away from Windsor Castle - to watch the annual performance from the 1st Battalion Welsh Guards.

William took the salute and gave a short speech before handing out symbolic leeks to the regiment.

Meanwhile, Kate was given a bouquet of yellow daffodils by a young schoolgirl to make the occasion.
