Anyone else feeling super nostalgic right now? We're finding it hard to believe that today marks ten years since Prince William and Kate Middleton said 'I do' in front of the many millions who tuned in to watch their big day at Westminster Abbey.

While there was plenty that we could all enjoy via the televised programme (that dress, for instance), there were plenty of off-camera moments that we would've missed out on, including Prince William cracking a tonne of jokes - one to his new bride's father, Michael Middleton.

Yep, according to a biography written about the Duchess of Cambridge, by royal correspondent Marcia Moody, when Michael and Kate reached the end of the aisle (where William was waiting with his brother Harry), the Prince made light of the gathered crowds and historic venue, saying, "Just a quiet family wedding, then."

In response, Michael is believed to have joshed back, saying he wasn't nervous at all. A few days after the wedding, it's reported that Michael Middleton told his new son-in-law it all "felt like a dream". Cute!

It's also reported that Prince William and Prince Harry also had a good laugh ahead of the wedding ceremony, with William telling his brother (who served as his best man), "All I have to do is get my lines right."

The Duke of Cambridge also told the BBC ahead of the special day that "the whole thing" made him nervous and was keeping him awake at night. He added, "I was telling everyone when I did the rehearsals the other day and my knees started going, tapping quite nervously... So it's quite a daunting prospect but very exciting, and I'm thoroughly looking forward to it. There's still a lot of planning to be done in the last four weeks."

It's amazing to think quite how far the couple have come since then, having welcomed three children together - Prince George, who is set to become King one day, Princess Charlotte and Prince Louis, their youngest son, who turned three last week.

We hope that however they're choosing to celebrate a decade of marriage, the Duke and Duchess will have a wonderful day together!
