Prince Charles
In a 2018 BBC Radio interview, the Prince of Wales revealed he is a big fan of late Canadian singer Leonard Cohen. Charles said: “I’ve always loved Leonard Cohen’s voice and his whole approach to the way he sang. He was obviously incredibly sophisticated in the way he sang, but also wrote. I find it very moving, the words are so extraordinary.” - 3/11
Princess Eugenie
In a video for End the Silence, Sarah Ferguson and Prince Andrew’s daughter revealed that she loves the track ‘Daydream Believer’ by The Monkees. Eugenie revealed the sweet reason behind her liking. She said: “Growing up I used to get really car sick and we used to go on all these trips and journeys. They'd turn this [‘Daydream Believer’] on and say, 'cheer up sleepy Jean.' Maybe it's because my name's Eugenie, like Jean. My mom sang it, my friends sang it, everyone." - 4/11

In an interview with The Sun, dubstep band Magnetic Man’s Artwork, revealed how he and bandmate Skream met Prince Harry in a Buckingham Palace event. He said: “We got invited up to Buckingham Palace to watch Goldie’s band in action. While we were there, we met Prince Harry. He was well excited when he was introduced to Skream — he put his hand out and said, ‘Hello Skream, nice one!’ Harry obviously knew who he was before he met him.” - 5/11

According to Hello! magazine, Queen Elizabeth has such a sophisticated taste and some of her favorite music stars are those considered as legends. Princess Diana’s love of music made her more than just an average fan. During her life, the beloved Princess of Wales was friends with some of the most iconic music industry names, including Elton John and Freddie Mercury, who were close to the late mother of Princes William and Harry. The Duchess of Sussex and former ‘Suits’ star included in a playlist published in her now-extinct blog The Tig which featured indie singer Maggie Rogers’s track ‘Dog Years’. In a recording for an Apple Music’s audio walking tour, the Duke of Cambridge revealed that daughter Charlotte loves Colombian singer Shakira. He said that part of his morning routine includes seeing how his little ones enjoy music. He said: “One of the songs that the children are loving at the moment is Shakira, ‘Waka Waka’. There’s a lot of hip movements going along with a lot of dressing up. Charlotte particularly is running around the kitchen, in her dresses and ballet stuff.” - 11/11

In a 2014 event that took place at Goole High School in East Yorkshire, England, the Duke of Cambridge told students that, when he was younger, he used to play the piano, drums, and trumpet. As music has clearly been quite important to him since an early age, it’s no surprise he has some specific tastes. He said: “I really like Coldplay, Linkin’ Park.” William and Catherine are also friends with pop star Ellie Goulding and she performed at their wedding reception back in 2011!
