The Duke of Sussex is set to visit the Netherlands next week from 8 - 9 May, sparking speculation that he could be a father by that point.

Harry, 34, will undertake an official engagement in Amsterdam. He will then travel to The Hague to officially launch the one year countdown to the Invictus Games The Hague 2020.

Royal watchers on Twitter have even suggested that Baby Sussex might have already made an appearance.

But Buckingham Palace aides tell Yahoo UK that the duke is planning on going to the Netherlands, but a decision will be made closer to the time because they don’t know when the baby will arrive.

Up until this point, the dad-to-be’s public engagements have been announced last minute.

He was a last minute addition at the Anzac Day service with sister-in-law, the Duchess of Cambridge last week and at the London Marathon on Sunday.

While the duchess’ due date was not formally revealed by Kensington Palace when they made the pregnancy announcement in October 2018, Meghan revealed to well-wishers in Birkenhead that she is due at the end of April/beginning of May.
