Prince Harry posts new video with emotional message after reuniting with brother William in the UK
Prince Harry touched hearts in an emotional new video just days after his poignant get-together with Prince William. He shared his thoughts ahead of the 2025 Invictus Games, which is being hosted in Vancouver, Canada. As the Duke of Sussex approaches his milestone 40th birthday next Saturday, he delivered a powerful message, saying: "Sport has the ability to heal, to change lives and to save lives. For so many of these competitors, getting to the start line has been one of the hardest moments of their life."
He added: "But at the Games, their lives are changed. Watching these magical moments happen, and sport being the facilitator of that, is very, very special for all of us to witness." This heartfelt video comes after Harry returned to the UK for his late uncle Lord Robert Fellowes' private ceremony, which also saw him in the same room as Prince William amidst tension between the siblings.
Since founding the Invictus Games back in 2014, it's become a work of passion for Harry, celebrating the capacities of wounded, injured, and sick military personnel. Supporters of both Harry and the Invictus Games have been showering the recently posted clip with positive reactions.

Fans of the Invictus Games took to social media to express their excitement for the upcoming event, with one saying: "Inspiring stories, inspiring people, inspiring music, #InvictusGames is a truly life-changing experience for all, with Prince Harry at the realm, there is no wonder it goes from strength to strength, his commitment to fellow veterans is sincere and heartwarming".
Others shared their anticipation for the games, saying "Wow... we are looking forward to seeing the athletes in action! !" and "Wow! Such a powerful video!"
As Harry approaches his 40th birthday this month, a source tells OK! peace talks could be in the pipeline for the troubled family. Now a dad of two and virtually estranged from his brother and sister-in-law, The Prince and Princess of Wales, any celebrations for the former ‘Party Prince’ will be starkly different from his 30th, which was organised by his sister-in-law and held at her former 22-room apartment at Kensington Palace.
According to our source, the fact that his once close relationship with William and Kate - the trio were dubbed the “Fab Three” - has crumbled so dramatically isn’t lost on Harry, especially as he prepares to enter a new decade.
“With Harry’s birthday fast approaching, he has been speaking about maybe reaching out to Kate because it's on milestones like this when he really misses her,” they claimed. “She helped plan his 30th birthday and he feels bad that she won’t be involved and would love to catch up with her and see how everything is.
“But he knows that will never happen because Kate would never go behind William’s back and she will stay loyal to the royals. It would be a complete shock if they had peace talks but Harry still feels they all need each other.”
