Prince Harry and Meghan Markle have reportedly been invited to join the Queen and the rest of the Royal Family on the balcony of Buckingham Palace on June 2nd. It will see the couple make the traditional balcony appearance as they watch an RAF aircraft fly past in celebration of Her Majesty's Platinum Jubilee.

The four-day celebration, which will take place from June 2nd to June 5th will see multiple festivities being held across the country. In fact, the official Platinum Jubilee website has recorded that 758 public events and 1,043 street parties or private events have been shared so far. Looks like we might need a bit more than a long weekend to recover from all that then, eh?

As well as *all* the parties, there are also many public ceremonies that will take place, too, including Trooping the Colour - a ritual that has been performed by regiments of the British Army since the 17th Century. But according to the Telegraph, (and unlike their balcony invitation), it seems Meghan and Harry will not be permitted to take part in this particular ceremony or in fact any other major event across the four days. This follows their resignation as senior royals back in March 2020.

Since then, the couple has spent most of their time at home in California with their two young children, Archie and Lilibet. But legal representatives say it's too dangerous to bring the youngsters over to the UK just yet amid Prince Harry's personal protective security battle.

Despite this, it seems that Harry, Meghan, and his Grandmother, Queen Elizabeth II are on good terms after it was revealed they secretly met up with her and Prince Charles ahead of the 2022 Invictus Games in the Netherlands.

Well, we certainly can't wait for all the celebrations this June. Better get the diaries out now, we reckon.
