It looks like Prince Harry is about to become a godfather again, as one of his close friends has just welcomed his first child. Prince Harry and Meghan Markle have been busy completing their last round of Royal engagements in the UK, but it seems Harry is about to have another important job to do while he's this side of the pond.
Harry's pal Charlie van Straubenzee and his wife Daisy welcomed their first daughter named Clover last week, and Harry is expected to become Clover's godfather, according to The Times. Harry and Meghan are still in the UK wrapping up their Royal duties, but Harry is expected to visit Clover before the couple head back to Canada.
The Duke and Duchess of Sussex didn't initially announce who baby Archie's godparents are, but it has since been revealed that the couple asked Harry's friend Charlie to be a godfather to Archie, so it's only fair that Harry returns the favour.
Harry and Charlie have been friends since they went to Ludgrove School together. Charlie was an usher at Harry and Meghan's wedding, and Harry was best man at Charlie's wedding. And it looks like they're managing to stay good friends despite living on different continents.
Becoming a godfather to Clover won't be anything new for Harry. He's previously revealed that he's a godfather to a few of his friend's children. Speaking to The Telegraph in 2018, Harry said, "Yeah, I’m a godfather to quite a few of my friends’ [kids]... actually only five or six," and that number is likely to have gone up over the past few years.
Most recently, Harry became a godfather to his cousin Zara Tindall's daughter, Lena Elizabeth. We're sure Clover will be well looked-after by Harry.
