Prince George's shy moment as he meets Wimbledon winner Novak Djokovic
Prince George was certainly one lucky eight-year-old yesterday – not only did he get a front row seat at the Wimbledon Men's Final, but he also got to hold the winner's trophy too.
The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge's eldest son looked adorably shy as he met Serbian player Novak Djokovic after his on-court victory at the London tennis tournament.
Those watching the BBC television coverage at home could see the young royal shaking hands and chatting to the champion sportsman, who had beaten Australian opponent Nick Kyrgios.
He then looks quietly over-the-moon – and a little overwhelmed – as Djokovic hands him his giant golden trophy to hold.

Eagle-eyed viewers spied the young prince - who looked inquisitively at the engraved names of past winners - remarking: "‘It’s a bit heavy."
Some of his shyness may be to do with the fact he revealed himself to be a fan of the 35-year-old player before the game itself had even commenced.
Earlier on in the BBC coverage, George could be seen greeting officials and nervously replied when asked who he was supporting: "Djokovic."
He was then taken by his parents to sit in the royal box on Centre Court – making him, due to special rules, one of the few children ever to have been allowed to.
It is tradition that only royal children are allowed a seat, so that there is enough space for members of the tennis community.
George, who turns nine later this month, looked dapper in a navy blazer and tailored trousers for the important British sporting occasion.
He matched his mother, who opted for a navy polka dot dress by Alessandra Rich, featuring a peplum frill at the waist, ruched sleeves and button detailing down the front.
The duchess accessorised with a blue sapphire and diamond necklace with matching earrings, which originally belonged to the late Princess Diana.
