Pret has really been spoiling us this year. Last month the brand started selling ground coffee online so that we weren’t missing out on our daily dose of caffeine in lockdown and now it's launched a range of delicious sharing platters, perfect for picnics.

The food and drink chain has released three different platters to choose from, all of which save the need to buy items separately when preparing a delicious picnic. There's Smoked Salmon and Avo, a Ploughman's, and Hummous and Crudités - and each one is apparently perfect for sharing between two people.

The £8.99 Smoked Salmon and Avo Platter features some of the best brunch ingredients, including Scottish smoked salmon stars, avocado, creamy soft cheese and cumber, topped with red onion and lemon wedges.

For £8.49 you can find all your traditional picnic favourites in the Ploughman's Platter. It’s made up of Wiltshire-cured ham, mature cheddar, free-range eggs, roasted tomatoes, cumber and pickle on a bed of mixed salad leaves.

Whereas the £7.29 Hummus and Crudités Platter is the perfect companion for any alfresco lunch with cucumber, red pepper crudités, baby plum tomatoes and, of course, hummus.

Hannah Dolan, Global Head of Food Innovation at Pret said: “We know that many of our customers are meeting up with family and friends in the park or in their gardens, after months of being apart, and our team of chefs wanted to create something to help celebrate that moment.

“Our range of picnic platters take the fuss out of hosting and buying indyuvial items. Go one step further and order a bundle via one of our delivery partners, and you’ll be the envy of the park!”

Each platter is available for delivery and takeaway via the Pret website here.
