It's Tina's first child with her partner Kane William-Smith, and a host of celebrities wished her new family well.

Susanna Reid, Davina McCall, Clara Amfo, Sara Cox, Alex Jones and Zoe Ball were among the stars commenting on Tina's Instagram to congratulate her.

Tina, who fronts the BBC News at 6pm and 10pm and also steps in for Victoria Derbyshire on BBC Breakfast, last year revealed she was "beyond thrilled" to become a mum when she announced her pregnancy last year.

"Some exciting news to share!" she wrote on Instagram in December. "Beyond thrilled to be welcoming a new addition to our family in Spring 2021."

Earlier this month, Tina revealed she and her fiance were undertaking a home renovation project before the birth.

"Can’t quite believe we’ve started a refurb project and moved home just days before our little one is born but we’ve somehow managed it thanks to the amazing support of our friends and family," she wrote.
