Pregnant Duchess of Cambridge dons tracksuit for tennis game
The Duchess of Cambridge has made her first solo engagement since announcing her third pregnancy.
Despite admitting to battling hyperemesis gravidarum for a third time, Kate agreed to an appearance at the National Tennis Centre in London this morning.
For the occasion, the Duchess ditched her usual wardrobe of coat dresses and two-pieces and instead dressed down in a tracksuit.
Wearing black £185 Monreal London bottoms with £170 Nike Air VaporMax trainers loved by the sporting community, Kate most definitely looked the part. The royal’s small baby bump was just visible under her black jacket.
After meeting some of the UK’s youngest tennis talent, the Duchess took to the court to show off her own tennis skills.
It’s likely we’ll be seeing more of Kate’s sporting talent as she took over as patron of the Lawn Tennis Association from the Queen.
Earlier this month, Kensington Palace revealed that Kate and William’s third baby is due in April.
The Duchess has made several appearances since her pregnancy announcement but each has been with Prince William and Harry in tow.
Today marked the royal’s first sporty (and more comfortable) maternity look of 2017 with Kate choosing a lacy Temperley dress and peach Orla Kiely design in recent weeks.
