Beating the January blues with the coveted glow (inside and out!) without a juice in sight.
Things that’ll give you a glow this month - and year! - by making your mind and skin happy…
After having tried out Charlotte Tilbury’s make up collection a couple of months ago, I was intrigued to give the skincare a go too. And by doing so I found my new favourite cleanser/mask/miracle gel in the form of Multi Miracle Glow. The cream to oil balm does it all, effortlessly.
After years of personally begging (just kidding) (no I’m not) La Mer to create an oil, they finally gave it and made one just for me! (Ok, now I’m kidding). But either way, the Renewal Oil is a serum/oil hybrid that has already earned itself cult status since it’s release late last year. And why? Because it renews the skins barrier, creating more resilient skin while softening and plumping fine lines and is of course infused with La Mer’s Miracle Broth.
Nothing makes home feel quite as homely as when a delicious candle is burning sending good vibes all around. My favourite at the moment is Wild Fig & Cassis from Jo Malone.
I’m back on the book trail this year, and recently finished Love X Style X Life from Garance Doré. Beautiful illustrations, photos and observations, she discusses how she became Garance (which is also my middle name by the way) and the differences between Paris and New York. It left me feeling inspired.
There’s a new collection from Bobbi Brown which is all about that very glow I’m talking about. Launching in February, it’s all about giving yourself the lit-from-within radiance. I tried it out and can report that the Highlighting powder and Long Wear Gel Sparkle pots successfully mask any Saturday night sins.
Even though you’ll just want to keep it on your shelf because it looks so.damn.pretty. the Rose Bud Elixir from The Seeke is also miraculous for your skin (because we can’t forget about the body, too!). The soft scent will indulge all your senses, calm your mind and give your skin an extra boost of hydration.
