Forget The Cat Café, There’s A Purr-Filled Pub You Need To Know About

The now-famous Lady Dinah’s Cat Emporium in London may’ve let you enjoy a cuppa while stroking a cat but a watering hole in Bristol has done one better.

The Bag O’Nails in Bristol lets you hang out with cats, glass of vino in hand. Alcohol + cute moggies: What could be better?

Better watch your pint; these kitties were born and raised in this pub and are probably partial to a little draft beer. [Photo: Twitter]

Home to an army of feline friends, the pub on St George’s Road has enough cuteness to go round for all its punters.

“We have 15 cats in the pub — we once had 24 but that was too much,” landlord Luke Daniels told the Bristol Post. “The reaction is mostly positive. Occasionally you might have some people walking in and leaving and some might be allergic to cats but people love it.

“It’s a proper old fashioned pub. Coming here is all about beer and talking.” And playing with kitties, apparently.

All of the cats were born in the pub – one even arrived in a crisp box one quiz night.

And judging by Instagram, they’re all pretty content in their unconventional home and the punters seem thrilled to bits by their fluffy drinking companions.

Best of all, you don’t need to book a time slot to come and enjoy a drink and a cuddle with one of the Bag'ONails’ moggies. Just turn up and prepare to fall in love.
